When the effortful effort fades out, effortless effort sets in... -BKS Iyengar
What is the value of a practice that asks nothing of you—no effort, only softening into support, letting go, unwinding and allowing?
In an always-on, overstimulated, productivity-driven culture, restorative yoga offers a quiet and necessary antidote.

What People Are Saying
-
I love how Rutu approaches teaching with expert training, bringing care and intention into her classes and sequencing, but is never heavy handed. It's a special balance. And she never seems in a rush, there is an easy flow and you feel led and held in the practice the entire time. The teaching still comes across with lightness and ease, and she also gives students space to figure it out of their own.
-
Accessibility is one of Rutu's strength...beginners as well as advanced practitioners can walk into a class and get just as much out of it. Her disposition is soft and inviting, her instruction is clear and well paced.
-
I appreciate the feeling of being cared for and masterfully lead through a creative and effective yoga sequence with steady, focused facilitation--both serious and light. The care and quality of the instruction, the vibe of the studio--intimate and private, welcoming and safe, non-commercialized or busy.
